International Humanitarian Contribution

Lend With Care helps people turn ambition and determination into opportunity.

Entrepreneurs repay their loans over time, allowing the funds to be reinvested and used again to support others. This creates a cycle of support that can continue helping communities for many years.

The Gambia School Project focuses on practical improvements that directly benefit children and teachers.

Support provided through Rotary and partner organisations has helped improve learning conditions and school facilities in communities where resources are limited. Similar Rotary-supported projects across The Gambia have included classroom construction, school furniture, educational materials and sanitation facilities

When natural disasters, humanitarian crises or emergencies occur, communities can find themselves facing enormous challenges with little warning.
At Ellesmere Rotary, we believe that helping those in need should not stop at our local boundaries. Through Rotary’s worldwide network and trusted humanitarian partners, we are able to support relief efforts that provide practical assistance to people affected by disasters around the world.

Since the outbreak of war in Ukraine, millions of people have faced unimaginable hardship. Families have been displaced from their homes, communities have been disrupted and many people continue to rely on humanitarian assistance and international support.
Ellesmere Rotary has been proud to play its part in supporting relief efforts and helping those affected by the ongoing crisis.
